Steve Witkoff, the real estate developer and 'friend' of Trump, has flown to St. Petersburg via Norway, where he is set to meet with Putin. Both Trump and Putin rely on Russian propaganda to describe the state of the war, which means the chances of peace are nil. Unfortunately, Ukraine will have to continue inflicting pain on the Russians for some time yet. In recent days, the figures have pointed to 2,000 Russian soldiers being taken out of action each day.
