Half a Scaramucci

During Trump's first term, a press secretary arrived who talked a very big game. Anthony Scaramucci blew in like a whirlwind, and was blown right back out just as quickly, 11 days later.
That was a dramatic miscalculation by Trump.
For the press, this became a new unit of measurement: 11 days equals one full "Scaramucci".
Trump's final press secretary managed only half a Scaramucci.
What a disaster.
Trump claims he only hires the "best people". That may be true, he just happens to give them the wrong jobs. Her very first appearance was such a catastrophe that it was already difficult to keep her on.
The fact that Trump only hires sycophants makes the pool of available candidates extremely shallow.
To make matters worse, his "half-Scaramucci" press secretary lied about her educational background. She claimed to be a lawyer, but it turned out she held the same law degree as Trump: none at all.
That was the final straw.
Now, Trump must go in search of a new professional liar to spread his falsehoods. The only catch is that you can't get caught telling your own lies, a rather important requirement for holding onto the job.
